| three semi-stationary lights in sky seen from Denver area but over Kansas. Able to move very fast. There were 6 lights. 3 to the east of Denver and 3 to the southeast. Fairly stationary, although at times one from each group would change position and move up, down or either side very quickly and over time they all were seen to move around, so we knew they weren’t stars, and planes just don’t move like that. The lights were super bright, but would intermittently go dim and then come back bright again and seemed to strobe a little bit. We thought they might be helicopters, and drove to the east to see if we could get close enough to see shape with binoculars. They couldn’t be helicopters like we thought because we would have gotten closer, but we got no closer at all and then we realized how bright they must be and how fast the one that moved around must be moving. We decided they must either be in orbit or over Kansas somewhere. |
