As the sun was setting about 4 finger widths above the sun in the west/southwest was what looked like a really bright star even though it was too early for stars to be visible. It almost seemed like it was flaring or flickering and it propelled to my right or northbound and as it moved it gradually got dimmer until it wasn't visible at all.
