Big blurry star, looked though binoculars clearly one object changing shape dozens of yellow lights no aircraft running lights

My wife saw a large blurry star. I went outside to see it and went back inside to get my very good binoculars. Less then a 1/4 mile away. Object looked saucer shaped with lights around middle, no sound , no running light, moving east. Clearly one object with dozens of small lights on outside and changing shape. Spider shape, then oval shape, then blob shape. Object remaining the same size moving east till out of view 30 minuets later.
