Friend thought it was an unhooked street lamp when we first noticed it just above the 2 story old Montgomery wards store near van mall

2 of us were walking past the target store entrance when we stopped to clown around as my friend shoved 15 pieces of juicy fruit gum into her mouth. She was looking upward & laughing as was I then I noticed a street lamp with no wires above the ward's building and I said outloud why are there no wires on the street lite...then it began floating down towards us from 20 ft above 2 story building. It was silver no engine sound. It was a saucer with a domed top. No outside lights. No bottom lights. We jumped on city bus towards downtown V and it was behind our bus until evergreen Park where we hid behind trees as we exited the bus and scampered from tree to tree until the bus took off and the Craft still followed for 3 to 4 more blocks then it went vertical and was gone. We could see a window being revealed and there were 3 outlines of beings behind the window.
