An orange light silently crossed from west to east flying lower than an airplane, no blinking, moved in a straight line across the sky

At approximately 9:30CST on 8/7/23, my son and I observed a relatively low-flying orange light. It didn't have blinking lights like an airplane, and it moved silently in a straight line from west to east. We observed it for about a minute before it disappeared above the eastern horizon. During this time, we observed multiple identifiable airplanes, we could hear them and see the blinking lights on them. We do not believe that what we saw was an airplane.
