Bright light with DNA strands floating through the air.

This happened to me when I was seven or eight years old. I was sent to bed for the night. I always slept with my door open because I was afraid of the dark. My bed was against the same wall that my door was. I could see the living room light in the hallway and I could still hear my parents watching TV. My cat was laying on my lap. My room facing out into an open field like area. We were the first people to live in a new development and there was only five houses on our street. There was no street lights yet, so it always was incredibly dark out. Coal city is by no means a huge massive city so you could see everything in the sky at night. For the fear of the dark, though I kept my blinds shut. I was sitting straight up and I was petting my cat Garfield. Out of nowhere I heard. The sound of light turning on. It was like someone was taking football stadium lights and blasting them through my window. I could hear a sort of humming sound. The second those lights came on though I couldn’t move. I wasn’t breathing and I wasn’t blinking. I don’t think I’ve ever been so still in my life. As the light continued to illuminate my room, I saw DNA strands floating through my room. It was like jellyfish moving through the water. They were floating, so smoothly through my room. I don’t know if I had any thoughts at all. I do remember feeling relaxed. As far as I can tell this lasted maybe 10 seconds. As quickly as these lights came on, I could hear the sound power off immediately, and the lights were gone. I remember blinking my eyes rapidly. I was still sitting in the same position with my hand was in the same petting position, but Garfield was no longer in the room with me. The lights were off downstairs, and my parents had gone to bed. I remember sitting there just thinking about what just had happened. I didn’t learn about time loss until I was much older. If this was a UFO encounter, I might have experienced it. I didn’t see an actual object. Just the lights in the DNA. This was my first unusual experience that I’ve ever had when it comes to the subject of unidentified flying objects. After this experience, I have continued to see UFOs my whole life. I’m 35 now just for a time reference. I’ve never had an experience like this after.
