I was walking down the street after my dad dropped me off at my mom's and I looked and saw a redish dot flying quickly across the sky

It went by fast and I lost it after a bit (almost as if it disappeared) but it was red and almost glowing or so it seemed. I only saw it for a bit and nothing seemed to happen. I just saw it, thought nothing of it, and went on with my day. I didn't even think about it being a ufo until a conversation with my mom about aliens made me think.
