Very large disc about 20 feet across with lights surrounding the bottom, moving very fast.

Travelling at night in the Arizona desert with family when age 12 (1960). Seated in the left back seat. Saw a faint light over the right shoulder. Looked out the back window and saw a very large disc with lights on the bottom. I said "Look, Dad" to my father driving the car. It was visible for about 10-12 seconds, then it was gone.
