Fast moving bright light overhead. Not a normal aircraft! Then disappeared. Clear night.

Bright light overhead, clear night. Fast moving, disappeared quickly while still well above horizon. I don't think it was a meteor or aircraft even though this is the flight path for our municipal airport. Had headphones on couldn't hear if it made sound.
