Three Flying Disks lights around them.

I believe it was the summer of 1968. My girlfriend and I had arrived at South Land 75 drive-in theater just west of I-75 and just South of Dayton OH, it was about dusk. Not quite dark enough yet to show the movie when a guy tapped on my window, motioned for me to get out of the car, and said to look up. I couldn’t believe what I saw and immediately yelled to my date to get out of the car and look up.

About 1 quarter of a mile away up in the sky were 3 flying metallic disks with blinking lights around their perimeter. Not just a bright light but a visible airship. They were in a triangular pattern about 100 yards apart. When they moved, they stayed in that tight triangle and moved extremely fast. The three of us gazed in astonishment for just a few minutes then they flew away in the blink of an eye.

The next day I called the Dayton Daily News to report what I had seen. The person answering said I wasn’t the first to report it and they explained it away saying it was an airplane with advertising on its wings. I knew then no one was going to believe our story. A couple of years ago I contacted my date that night and asked her, did that really happen, did we see what I thought we saw? She confirmed that we did.
