Flew down by the cars and disappeared

My dad and I were in his car, and my brother and his friend were in the car behind us. We left Jackson lake and the there was a detour through fields of nothing to get back to the highway. While driving to the west, I kept seeing a huge ball of light, and it looked as it was getting closer. Got on the CB radio to ask my brother and friend, they thought it was an airplane. I said no, there are no flashing lights like a plane. The light kept coming closer, told the boys I really don't thinks it's a plane. Shortly after it was really close, the radio started going out, the dash lights started to flicker in both cars and i saw a silver ball getting super close to us, and as soon as I saw it, it changed into a diamond shape and flew away back west.... and when I say flew away, with a snap of the fingers it was gone. No lights, nothing...cars went back to normal
