Walking my dog, and a bright yellow ball appeared suddenly in the sky. It chased me to my house.

I was walking my grandparents dog. Looking over the lake on a clear night a bright yellow ball appeared. Did not raise my suspicion at first because we live on the route to the local airport but suddenly I started hearing a low humming sound and the yellow ball dropped to the tree line. I picked the dog up and started running and I saw the yellow ball coming out over the water. I got to my house crawled under a table. It shook the home, lit it up like daylight and then was gone. Almost 20 years later a friend who lived on the mainland from the island when I was telling her about this said, she was doing a science fair project on her dock with a neighbor, and they saw a bright yellow ball one night Shot over the lake, covered over our house and then shot straight up into the sky and disappeared again, no cloud cover And I have seen several instances of events like this.
