Saw a dark object flying northwest in night sky.

I was outside and watching stars and planes. While looking at stars, I observed a gray item flying northwest. I would guess the item was abot 3000 feet. The object was dark and hard to see in the night sky. I watched it for about 10 seconds. The craft did not make any noise. I immediately checked flight tracker and there was not a plane nearby at that moment
