Barely visible, like it was camouflaged specifically for human perception, only the movement gave its shape away

On the back porch with my nephew and partner star gazing, chatting, hanging out. 11:18pm or right in there, I had just looked at the time on my phone when my partner spotted it first, then my nephew spotted it. Shaped like a giant stingray without a tail, flying through the air as if swimming, said it "felt" alive and made a sound of water in the distance, invisible but in a hard to describe way, at if it's camouflaged against human perception or something. Only thing that gave away its shape was the movement through the sky. Then we all almost passed out after it was gone, like the atmosphere got really really thick and heavy suddenly. It seemed like a creature, but not like a creature in the animal kingdom way.
