two black spheres high above.

I was waiting for a city bus with my wife when I happened to look up at the sky and I noticed two round black objects very high up .Before I could make out what those things were,my neighbour's daughter arrived and I said to her "what it that up there?"When I looked up to that place in the sky there was only empty clear blue sky but I'm sure I saw something!
