Huge glowing white sphere

I'm not sure of the exact date, but it was in the end of August.

Once or twice per week, we usually go in the woods to do a small fire in the late evening.

The sky was dark blue, so we were able to make the difference between the mountains and the sky. So the sky wasn't totally dark.

We were talking and suddently I noticed a BIG ball of white light on my left, just in front of the mountain. From where I was, i could say 1 inche diameter so it has to be huge.

It was not moving. It was only standing over the trees without making a noise.

The ball was so bright and white.There was no blinking lights.

It was in a perfect ball shape.

I told my friends to take a look at that anomalous light, and suddently, the glowing ball began to move left and right at a very fast speed. Then it just stopped moving again for 10 seconds. I could not believe what i was seeing, because i never seen something doing movements like that. It felt it was almost unreal.

10 seconds after, the glowing ball took some altitude very fast, and just accelerated to the the left.

We all lost it, and never seen it again.

We returned about every evening at the same location, and we never seen that thing again.
