Large rectanble of blue light, window perhaps at the front of some craft with brilliant round ball of light zipping around it.

It was late June of this past summer, 2003 in the "true" not the "deep" south. I was staying in a guest bedroom of my parents home. The home lies in the midst of 78 acres with fields surrounding it. I was sound asleep and then suddenly, I was wide awake. One set of the bedroom windows faces what I belive is north to north-east and the four dogs that live outside were completely silent. There were no highway sounds (the highway is about 5 miles away as the crow flies), no night-bird sounds, no insects, nothing. I looked out the windows and my first thought was that there was going to be a commercial jet airplane smashing into the house. All I could see in the adjoining field (about 1 & 1/2 football field legnths away from the house) was a large rectangle "window" with a bright blue (neon style light - piercing - strobe level bright) and I thought it was a downed commercial jet and it was going to skid into the house. I could tell there was some massive shadow behind it, such as woudl work with a large jet body laying behind the "pilot's window". I could only discern in bulk and what appeared to be delta style wings behind the brilliant blue lighted window. It was so eerie as there was no sound. The rectangle shape of light was, I supposed the pilots' front window. But then, there was this super-intense bright little zipping ball of light that traveled so quickly my eyes could not even barely track it without "trails" of light refracting. I did not know it at the time, but I had cataracts in both eyes, that may have caused the "refraction" of the light in the zipping ball (in comparison to the large light rectangle, in comparison to the enormity of the "blue lighted window" and the bulky craft behind the windown, this ball was about the size of a supersized beach ball or 100-plus pound pumpkin). Anyhow, I watched it for what seemed like a half an hour at least, but I have no idea. I blinked, stood up, drank some water from the bedside table, but yet it remained. Then, I laid ba! ck in bed facing the field and the strange apparation and I just fell asleep or something. I don't know. I was going to wake my younger sister (asleep in the adjoining first floor guest room) and have her look but I fell into sort of a trance or whatever. Later that day, I went out to the field and could find no evidence of a burn or the weeds or crops that were left mashed down. The following weekend I watched my used copy of the movie, "Signs" the wonderful film by M. Night Shalalah (sp) with Mel Gibson. I had terrifying nightmares and was extremely stressed and frightened. That movie is frightening but I never made me so panicked before. Strange. Thanks, that's my story.
