Triangle shape

Arriving home late from work my boyfriend and I heard a loud humming sound and saw a very large triangular shape in the sky.

At first it's lights were all red and blinking and very bright. Then the lights were red and green and then white. It was flying slowly above the tree line and seemed to be making wide circles of the area.
