|Summary : Three "oval-shaped" objects, in formation: one in front, one directly behind, one "above" and behind the second one. All three appeard fuzzy or out of focus. They appeared to be moving at the same speed as the satellites we had been observing.
My wife, a female friend, and I were looking for satellites. We were facing west, and it was a clear night. We watched three or four satellites pass almost directly over-head, when my wife's friend said she'd spotted another satellite. I raised my binoculars and noticed not one but thee oblong or oval objecs, each appearing "blured" or out of focus. All three were in formation, one directly behind the leader, the third "above" and a bit behind the second one. As the three objects moved together across the stars behind them, I could see stars "beween" the objects, indicating it was in fact three objects and not one. The objects appeared to be moving at approximately the same rate as a passing satellite. The objects were in view for approximately 30-40 seconds, then they passed behind some high, thin cirrus clouds and we lost sight of them. All thre of us saw the objects, and all three described the same thing.
