|A large green fireball traveled from west to east, and decended into lake Michigan
At 5:23am I observed a green fireball, similar to a flare, with a tail approx 1/2 mile long, heading east, at approx. 25,000 ft.. The object flew over lake Michigan which usually has a cumulus cloud layer over it in the winter, curved downward, dissapeared into the clouds, came out the bottom, headed downward towards the lake, when I lost it behind the tree line. I assume that it splashed into the lake.
