It was late at night (I live in Campbell Hall N.Y.) on top of a mountain (elevation 300-500 feet) and I was camping out with 2 friends. From this mountain I could see Washingtonville, Campbell Hall, Stewart air base and th Hudson River. It was dark and stupid us we had not got fire wood for the fire yet. We got the wood and then. Tired to start a fire. I got a small fire going and it went out so I just sat back to look at the stars. I saw a flash of bright white light. It stopped in the middle of the sky right over the hudson river. It was then that I relized there were 3 of them. One landed about 100 ft. from the hudson. It stayed there and then left as quick as it came. the hour and 15 minute felt like 10-20 minutes.

MOUNTAIN- It was rocky and had some good soft dirt
