Lights in the sky performing aerobatic manuvers impossible for regular aircraft to make.

The lights were almost like stars, but were flying around making swoops and dives, they would slow to an almost stop the excellerate. They would make sharp turns at high speed, be going in one direction stop then go in the opposite direction.
