My roomates and I were enjoying a late night barbeque in our backyard when a all three of us obsereved a large orange sphere moving quickly across the sky heading south-west. It did not have any blinking lights, tail or trail behind it and was absolutely silent. The object itself appeared to be dimly lit from within. We all remained silent and transfixed until it passed completely out of sight.
