|Radar siting near Chicago- Dec. 1952. Object moved about 10 miles per second.
While working as an Army Radar Operator, working a fire control type SCR 584 station, I observed a radar "blip" moving across my screen at approx. 10 miles per second for about 15 miles, then turning about 90 deg. in less than two seconds, continuing off the screen. ( about 40 miles. I was trained to detect jamming and other interference. Observed nearly the same thing near White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico in 1951.
