Musical Tones heard during thunderstorm in Crystal Lake

This is in response to the posting made on 8/28/2002.

The musical tones heard during the thunderstorm in Crystal Lake Illinois were created by lightning striking one of the emergency weather sirens which shorted out the system computer and caused it to make that tone.
