| Blue disc with fire trails moving toward the earth and vanishing. I was standing by the hudson river in Manhattan. There was a blue ball of light with orange trails coming from the back of it. The ball was above me, very close to the earth moving downward in a straight line. The trails appeared to be fire. The ball completely vanished from the night sky after about 30 seconds.
