| Square object tumbling under cloud level in the Warwickshire, UK skies With striking similarity to the case reported on the 8/31/03 in Basingstoke, UK 'Cylinder...' '...that tumbled'. My partner and I watched on a hot, cloudy day, as a square object (kind of like a mortar board) tumbled (or flipped as I would have originally described it) along at a steady pace, slowly, under cloud level. It appeared to be very small, and again, I can see the similarity to the Basingstoke sighting, as we at first thought it could be a 'balloon'. However, it flipped or rotated slowly and evenly, in a perfectly straight line for quite a distance until we couldn't see it. If it were a balloon it would have changed course at least once, or showed some kind of alternate movement, but it didn't sway from its course once. I tried to zoom in on it using the my camcorder, but alas, it was too small to get a good focus on. I'd like to hear about anything similar, obviously, something a little different was spanning the skies on these dates from the Midlands to the South at least. |
