10/23/03 9:30pm I saw a glowing blue object with a long blue tail hurtling towards the ground and disapearing after 5 seconds.

North East in sky around 9:30pm. Blue, glowing with long tail and moving very fast like it was going to crash. After a few seconds of moving faster toward the ground than anything I have ever seen it disapeared. I am a Mmrried woman with 4 children and I was sitting in my hot tub relaxing after the kids had just gone to bed. My husband was on his way to a friends house and upon returning home he said he saw it too. A number of people called the news but they only reported it as a meteor. IT WAS BLUE... Today my son has informed me that on his way home from school there was a news crew in someones yard and they were looking at some peices of an object that fell from the sky last night and landed in his yard.
