|bright white lights over the Sierra Madres in Mexico
It was after midnight when my guests and I went onto our hotel balcony to enjoy the view. As we were talking I saw what I thought to be a shooting star in the eastern sky baove the Sierra Madre Mountains. However when the "shooting star" stopped, made a 90 degree turn, & then dissappeared I pointed to the sky to show my friends where I had seen the weird sight. Just as they looked, another light started zipping around in the same strange fashion. At one point we had 4 lights moving at once in weird formations. One of the objects strobbed its white light as it hung motionless in the sky before taking off again. It generally looked like very bright shhoting stars, except for the way they moved, and interracted with each other. (It sounds corny, but it looked like they were just having fun up there) Most of the time there were only two to three objects visable at a time, but there was one breif moment when we counted four objects at the same time. This went on for 30-45 minutes and only stopped when a haze moved in. We checked the sky every night afterwards, but never saw these objects again. I am just glad that I had 3 other people with me to see it, as I can hardly believe it myself! It was very amazing!
