Did anyone else see what we saw in Downtown Los Angeles?

I was driving back from Monterey Park on the 101 North when my girlfriend and I saw 4 bright lights hovering in position right in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. As we got closer, I thought to myself that it's strange to see an object not move at all that didn't resemble a human aircraft but kept quiet, it wasn't until my girlfriend mentioned the word UFO that I really became intrigued. We kept looking until we had to drive behind buildings.
