| Lights moving over SoCal in the afternoon The family was sitting outside by the pool. I was just looking up at the blue sky and noticed a very small point of light flickering.It was a tiny point of light like seeing a satelite at night. It was moving slowly towards the east. I thought it was strange my wife looked for it and saw it as well as my 6 year old and 9 year old. We then noticed another one further east sitting there flickering too. We noticed a smaller light sort of circling the first light, back and forth around the top of it as it got closer to the second light. The first light seemed to become stationary. Another smaller/dimmer light emerged from the second light and began to move away further east.I then began to fantically look for binoculars etc. No such luck. I got the video camera and tried to film this but I do not think I recorded it as it was difficult to se in the viewer.They were very high altitude. Once you took your eyes off of them it was hard to find them again, but we did and this lasted about an hour. We eventually lost track of them. |
