| The ball of light just hovered above the motorway. We were driving to work and saw this ball of light. It looked like it was hovering over the M1 motorway between junction 21 and 20. We saw it as we came out of Countesthorpe which is south of the city Leicester. It would have been about 2 - 3 miles infront of us. We are not sure what this is but an explanation would be good.
