Brilliant green comet or meteor

My friend and I saw a massive green comet or meteor at about 7:55 pm on saturday night while getting on 370 from Shady Grove Road right near the shady grove metro stop. It was brilliant green and had a fairly long tail and died out quickly. Simply awesome. Did anyone else see it?
