| rhythmic flashing blue red green and white lights in the shape of a disc.north of england flashing blue red and white rhythmic pulses in the sky.static apart from the earths own movement.colours then changed to green red and blue and white but the flashing definately has a rhythm to it.we have looked through binoculars but they are not good quality.it has been there for a while now and we are not sure what it is.we believe that it is not a star due to the rhythm of the flashing and it is definately not an aircraft that is known to us.we are in the north of england.can you shed any light on the matter.there is only one of them.i believe on closer inspection that the lights appear to be in a disc shape.
