Red, white and b lue lighted object

In the northwest sky of Smith County Texas there was something bright with rotating red, white and blue lights. It was very cloudy and the crescent shaped moon and all the stars were covered up with clouds. This was the only thing we were able to see in the sky. It hovered in the same spot for about an hour with what looked to be rotating flashing red, white and blue lights. After a while the object was no longer visible.
