Bright glowing object moved slowly across the night sky

Saturday 23rd September around 9pm, me and my 9 year old son were sat watching TV when I noticed something odd in the sky. We went outside and witnessed a bright glowing object flying at only a few hundred feet work it's way slowly above our garden and disappear into the distance. I managed to take a picture on my phone camera and was amazed at what we captured.

Never seen anything like this before and looked in the press today expecting that there would be other people reporting this, but nothing so far.

Maybe there is a simple explanation? If so I would love to hear it.
