Flashing Formation - Sonoma County, California

My mother came into my room and said she saw a whole bunch of blinking lights in the sky. I went outside and checked... there was a formation of about 10 flashing lights, they did no move, just flashed, repeatedly at a steady pace. they were in the eastern sky and far enough away that i could not record them on film. UFO drawing did not show correctly on first submission, i will email a image drawing of them.
