The object was heading east, it was to my north and seemed to be at a constant velocity.

It is a very clear day today with a virtually unlimited visibility. I was walking east toward my apartment complex on Flamingo Road from the Sunflower Market on the NW corner of Rainbow and Flamingo. I was just looking into the sky and to the north I saw what appeared to be a streak of light heading east. During the next seconds I could make out a disk or oval shape still heading east at what seemed to be a constant velocity. The object had no vapor trails nor sound coming from it and it continued east until I could no longer make it out.

There were vapor trails from military craft far in the eastern sky near the Nellis AFB so I would be suprised if there are not other reports of this object.
