Duration: 52 mins
No of observers: 1

Location: Santa Fe, NM, USA

Shape: Formation
Characteristics: Lights on object, Aura or haze around object

~1 hour over ABQ, began descent halfway through observation. Three color-changing, pulsing lights that retained formation.

VIDEO STILLS E-MAILED: 4.30.07.1.JPEG and 4.30.07.2.JPEG On April 30, 2007, from 10:03 PM to 10:55PM MST(at which point I fell asleep), I observed three bright color-changing(spectrum-cycling) dots over the Albuquerque area. These dots retained the same formation throughout the observation.

There was an aura around these objects, which was not caused by my eyes, as I shielded them from the dots and could still see the aura. The surrounding clouds were dimly lit, as can be seen in the video stills. The range in which the clouds were lit was only to the left and right of the dots, not above or below.

Throughout this whole observation, the dots were pulsing(approximately one second to fade in to bright, and one to fade out to dim). Every few minutes they would stop this smooth pulsing and flash, as it seemed, randomly.

From 10:03PM to 10:25PM, the dots were stationary, at least 30,000 ft ASL over the ABQ area. At 10:25PM, the dots began to move, whilst retaining their formation. By 10:55PM, the dots had moved several miles west of ABQ, and descended to half of their previous altitude. I could not stay awake any longer, so I was not able to see if the dots landed, faded out, etc.

In the two video stills, one at 10x zoom, the other at 20x zoom, one can see the formation of the dots, the surrounding clouds being lit up, and the color of the dots.
