| Offshore UFO I work offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. I was riding a crew boat back to the Galveston Beach docks on January 13, 2008. It was a perfectly sunny day and no clouds where in the sky. The boat was traveling north, northeast 20-30 miles off the coastline. I first saw the object in the eastern skyline while lying down in the sun. At first I thought it was a bird that was flying high up. But, there were no other birds around and it wasn’t moving. I turned to my friend next to me and said, “Look at how high that bird is man!” His first words were that it wasn’t a bird and he couldn’t tell what it was as well. The object was stationary for a good five minutes, so it being a plane was not possible. I kept looking at it trying to discern what it was. All of sudden while I was looking straight at it, the object vanished and never reappeared. The object was white and curved at the top and flat on the bottom. Almost like a saucer but, it had a slit going through the side of it halfway. |
