| falling light I was facing southeast stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of bridge , oyster mill and country club having just crossed the bridge. I saw a very bright light first assumed it was a plane that had just turned so as its main light became visible suddenly to my location but thought it was taking an odd path away from either hbg airport..also noticed it seemed to be going going down and appeared to be accelerating. It then was obviously moving very fast....from my vantage point it seemed like an oblique east to south south west rapidly descending trajectory. Assumed it was a meteorite... could not find any other reports of this. |
