Red and Greenish/White lights making a zigzag motion, then disappearing over the horizon

I was walking my dog in the Roosevelt District of Phoenix, and I noticed what appeared to be red lights that had a strange greenish/white hue. Not knowing how lights could have more than one color I stopped and stared, and noticed that the craft was making a zigzag motion across the sky.

I watched it for a minute or so, then suddenly it turned around and accelerated over the horizon in about 2-3 seconds. At that point I knew it had to have been a UFO because nothing can move that fast. I looked at my watch as it disappeared and it was exactly 11:32PM.

One interesting characteristic about this is that when I saw the lights, there seemed to be an aura or hue. It was dark, so I could not clearly see the craft, but it seemed to have a metallic, or "mother of pearl" look and I could see the shape of the craft was round and appeared to be roughly the size of a dime. Not knowing how large the craft was, it's hard to say how high up it was, but I estimate it was probably about 2 or 3 miles overhead.
