| Erratic moveing white light in Southeastern US I went outside and sat down on porch steps. I live in a rural area and on this night the sky was very clear. I noticed a white light in the sky that I assumed was a plane. When first noticed it was moving in a straight line but upon focusing on the light I noticed it was moving in an erratic pattern. After watching the light dance around in the sky for about 5 minutes I called my brother outside to watch it with me. The light stayed within my sight for at least 25 minutes and it was at about the same altitude as a plane but did not have the colored signaling lights as planes do. The light would hover in one spot for a while then it would shoot forward very fast. It would also go from right to left and in circles not moving much from its original position. |
