Bright sphere shooting down the sky.

It was a few minuets after 11:00 pm. I was about 15 miles outside of Weed California. My music was loud so I would not fall asleep and my friend Tyler was sleeping in the front seat. In a split second, I saw this HUGE flash of light shoot vertically down the sky, but it was so bright and big that I know it was not a comet or meteor. It was too much of a perfect circle. It happened so fast that I didn't get Tyler up in time to see it. I cant comprehend it, because I sit out all the time and look at shooting stars, and this was no shooting star. I have never seen anything like it.
