Glowing disk like object moving abot Los Angeles

I was looking outside my patio door, and I noticed a very bright object slowly moving over the mountains that line Los Angeles. It was about 10 miles away, and appeared to be the size of 2-3 blimps. The funny thing was was that there appeared to be no external lights to it, it was lit up from the inside out. And the entire thing was glowing. It slowly made its way around the Los Angeles basin until it was out of sight.
