|Bright object over Los Angeles turning from west to east then toward the south.
I had stepped out on the 2nd floor landing of my apartment building in Hollywood which faces west. I had my 20X binoculars with me. I was checking out the planes coming into LAX and any that were flying over. There were hazy clouds and I don't know how high they were. After about 10 minutes I looked up toward the west-northwest at an angle of about 35-40 degrees and noticed a bright white light moving toward the southeast. I immediately looked through my binoculars and didn't notice any strobe or wing lights.
The object was moving rather quickly. As it came over the apartment building it began moving toward the south I ran down to the parking lot to see if any strobe or wing lights could be seen as it moved away. I still couldn't see any. The object was obviously below the hazy clouds because it remained bright all through the sighting. The whole sighting took about 4 minutes.
