close to earth.. not stars, silent.. very very very myserious!

we were driving into the town of canmore, here in the rockies.. i notices 2 light.. they looked like stars.. i have NEVER NOTICED these stars over the mountaine before.. ever... then.. the lights were coming closer.. there was a dim one in front of a brighter one.. the dim one kept getting brighter and dimmer... they were perfectly apart the whole time we were watching them.. and silent.. wow!
