| orange fireball floating in the sky about 20 sec looking west from Marengo Illinois then seemed to flicker out at approx.9:30pm on 6/13/09 my daughter came inside and said she saw what looked like an airplane on fire. I got up to look and saw the same thing, a ball of fire stationary in one spot not moving around, she ran inside and got binoculars but we could not hold them steady enough and it was quit aways off to see exactly what it could be.
