| Bright, dancing light, possibly with tail. Saw a light (or possibly 2 very close together) hovering in the northern part of the sky, just over the treetops in our yard. It looked like a star at first but then began to move, dipping up and down in a firefly-like fashion sometimes, sometimes accelerating upward for a while and then plunging back down. Sometimes seemed to have a tail or a curve of lights in front of it, like something you might see in a photo of a meteor entering the atmosphere. As I'm writing this, the light(s) are still visible. |
