| white light and circle of smoke There was a bright white light in the sky (resembled a flare in the way that it emmitted light, but was very white) The light lingered in the air for about 1 minute then just disappeared. What was noticeable after the light disappeared was a ring shape of smoke. The circle of smoke dissipated after a few minutes. I have no idea what it was, but it wasn't a plane or a flare gun.
